Purpose
- delt builder on a fixed path with each arm carrying its own load
- independent handles mean neither side can carry the other, the same difference
a dumbbell press has from a barbell press
- the fixed path still takes balance out of it, so the arms work separately
without the stabilising demand of dumbbells
Execution
Set the seat so the handles start at shoulder height. Sit back against the pad
and take one handle in each hand.
- press the handles overhead until your arms extend
- let them travel back down until you feel the stretch across your front delts
- pause briefly in the stretched position to maximize tension
- press back up along the same path
- keep both sides moving at the same rate
Set the seat height once and keep it.
